Witch House Hosts Launch of Salem’s Dark History
On August 5th, 2017 the "Witch House" of Salem MA. became a
"full-house". The venue hosted a book launch for a new anthology titled "Entombed in Verse, an Epitaph for Salem".
Contributing authors of the book presented readings of their works to visitors. The Witch House structure was the home of Judge Jonathan Corwin who took part in the infamous Salem Witch trials of 1692.
The farthest traveled author was Cynthia Morrison from Florida. She shared her tribute with regard to Giles Corey, one of the Salem witch trial's accused who was executed by being crushed with stones. Morrison is a former strength athlete that endured being pressed and crushed with nearly half a ton in 2007.
